Non-hunters are welcome to join the hunting safari party while on their African hunt since there are plenty of non-hunter activities in the area. Our hunting lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Stone Creek Safaris is a family business and a world-class hunting outfitter. With over two decades of experience in the hunting industry, therefore you can be certain you're in capable hands when you book a hunt with us.

Our base hunting lodge are located close to Oudtshoorn​, in the heart of the Klein-Karoo only a 45-minute drive from George Airport and a mere 4 hours from Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. With prime hunting concessions spanning over 20,000 acres and with more than 20 species of Planes Game, including Cape Buffalo. In South Africa's popular Malaria-free Western Cape Province, you are guaranteed to have a once-in-a-lifetime hunting experience.

The terrain of these areas varies from mountains and hills with quartz gravel flats, to open planes of landscape where wildlife and flora leave you truly captivated and transformed.

OUR ETHICAL PRACTICE
As a member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA), we adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics. When we make client-specific agreements, whether in writing or verbally, we believe that our word is our bond.
In addition to adhering to PHASA ethical standards, we believe ethical hunting entails a genuine commitment to hunting animals in their natural environment under conditions in which the animal being hunted has a reasonably good chance of avoiding or escaping the hunter, and in which the hunter will only take shots that he is highly confident will result in a quick and humane death and that the animal is treated with the respect and dignity that it deserves.

Len, Founder, Outfitter, and Professional Hunter at Stone Creek Safaris, grew up on a livestock and game ranch in the Klein Karoo region, of South Africa’s Western Cape Province. Len brings over 3 decades of experience in the hunting industry, specializing in wildlife tracking, bow hunting, and rifle hunting. His passion for sharing the thrill of hunting in the Klein Karoo and the stunning landscapes of South Africa's Western Cape Province, is deeply rooted in the support of his wife Martie and kids, who share his dedication and commitment to creating memorable experiences for fellow hunters. His commitment extends beyond just the hunt; he values the importance of family and strives to create an environment where families can come together to experience the outdoors, make memories, and build lasting bonds. As a qualified and experienced Professional Hunter,
Len upholds the highest standards of safety and ethical hunting, a valuable lesson he learned from his father, who emphasized respect for nature and the animals they hunted. Through his father's guidance, Len grew up to understand that hunting was not just about the pursuit but about maintaining a respectful relationship with the environment. As a former representative of South African Archery Team competing in several competitions, and also a keen bowhunter, Len’s skill and knowledge of bowhunting are unmatched.

Gerrie & Liza Ferreira
Gerrie and Liza, a dynamic team and one of Stone Creek Safaris concession owners, has over 30 years of experience in game breeding and game ranching, with a deep commitment to the conservation and sustainable management of wildlife. Specializing in plains game and Cape buffalo, Gerrie’s breeding efforts focus on enhancing genetic diversity to ensure healthy, robust populations. In addition to his breeding expertise, Gerrie has extensive experience in the export of domestic livestock and various game species to several countries worldwide, further expanding his impact on global conservation efforts. Liza plays a pivotal role in the success of their business, offering exceptional skills in logistics and administration, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Gerrie’s dedication to conservation goes beyond breeding; he plays an active role in habitat
restoration in the Klein Karoo, working to preserve the delicate balance of this arid region. Growing up in the Klein Karoo, Gerrie learned from his father the importance of respecting the land and its wildlife, a lesson that continues to guide his efforts in preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of this unique area. Through these combined efforts, Gerrie’s work not only supports wildlife populations but also promotes a sustainable future for the region’s ecosystems.
Ockie, Blanche, Trudy-Marie, Stephan & Daniel Nel
Ockie and Blanche, the dynamic duo behind Chandelier Game Lodge, the main camp of Stone Creek Safaris, they have transformed the lodge into a welcoming haven for guests seeking adventure and serenity. As the daughter of Gerrie, Blanche brings a deep understanding of the land and its rich wildlife, inheriting her father's passion for conservation and hospitality. Ockie, her husband and the lodge’s co-manager, complements her vision with his expertise in logistics and guest services, ensuring every stay is seamless and memorable. Together, they create a perfect balance of charm, professionalism, and care, making the lodge not just a place to stay, but an unforgettable experience. Their shared commitment to preserving the wilderness and offering an authentic safari adventure has made the lodge a cherished destination for traveller’s from around the world. enhanced by Blanche and Ockie’s three children, who play an active role in creating a family-friendly environment.
