rifle hunting

Whether your bucket list includes hunting the Big Five or the Plains Game of Africa, either way, it is guaranteed to be an exciting event that frequently fulfils a lifelong goal. Some people view it as a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, while for others, it marks the first of many hunting excursions back to Africa.

Your Stone Creek Hunting Safari begins at early morning with a steaming mug of coffee after which the hunting group set off in search of THE PERFECT BUCK.

Our terrain favours the walk and stalk and spot and stalk method of hunting – no shooting from vehicles, an authentic ethical hunting adventure. Shot distance varies between 80-300 yards. With the stalk being the most thrilling part of the hunt, and the trophy serving as the ultimate reward, your well-trained and qualified PH will always attempt to get you as close as possible. Modern shooting sticks are used to good effect.

bow hunting

Bow hunting in South Africa is one of the most challenging yet rewarding styles of hunting. The big challenge is to get close enough to the trophy to be able to make a shot. With spacious elevated blinds and pit blinds with water and salt placed strategically and with a combination of different species you will have the perfect opportunity to land your next bow hunting trophy.

For the more experienced bow hunter walk and stalk is also a possibility.

“When a hunter is in a tree stand with moral values and with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20 feet closer to God.”
-  Fred Bear

A permit is not required to import your bow into South Africa. All species of game up to Buffalo are permitted to be hunted with a bow in South Africa. “Thick skinned” species such as Rhino, Elephant and Hippo are not permitted for bow hunting.
